Tony hadn't thought too much off it. He was a guy who could appreciate a fine wine worth around 800 dollars a bottle. He once traded a carton of strawberries for a rolex. Yinsen once called him that man who had nothing and everything - though the tectonic plates have shifted, there are still remnants of that man.
Tony nursed his scotch. "And I know my defense corps. I don't ever recall magic being used as a weapon."
They would have told him. The military or a security company - anyone who could afford Stark weapons, would have approached him and told him to make something scarier.
He grabbed a pen from the inside of his pocket and wrote something down on the coaster:
He tapped it once before he passed it over to Anthony.
"Drake equation. I've had it memorized since I had a glimpse of alien life. I know. Now who sounds nutty? But -- if these impossible things can exist so can all the other stuff. Magic. Monsters. Gods. We've got a higher threshold of the impossible in my world and it's possible that there's less or more of that in yours. People could also come from world's where none of these things exist. It's a lot of theoretical passing the ball back and forth."
