As an extrovert, Julian had always extolled in telling people about himself, any little story that came to mind, anything at all to draw attention. Obviously Michael did not feel the same, and Julian actually felt a small bit of pity for a person who didn't feel enriched by others knowing more about them and finding out more about those others in return.

His hands fell back to his sides before slipping into his pockets. Less and less he was finding the company at this party to be those of the sort he enjoyed -- and there weren't many people that Julian couldn't stomach in one way or another. He gave one last jab, a last attempt to give Michael a chance to redeem himself in Julian's eyes.

"That accent certainly isn't from Hollywood, unless it's just as fake," he joked. "My guess is British. Hot or cold?"
