Hallway / Lia & Alexander
Samuel had been of two minds when considering the best arrival time for the penthouse shindig. Part of him understood the value of being fashionably late; the rest of him was lured quite effectively by the promise of top shelf liquor procured on someone else's dime. He had the night off, meaning he could arrive when the best of the liquor would still be flowing freely, long before the guests in attendance were too drunk to realize they were being served swill. It was this that convinced him not to dawdle when Lia called him, ready to put on a show, to see and be seen. He met her first in her deluxe apartment, then together they made their way upstairs, hearing almost immediately that the party was already underway.
He was pleased to see the dress code ran the gamut, from the always stylishly attired owner of CASKET to the more familiar, comfortable outfit chosen by Max, Samuel's brother in pixellated arms. His own choice of clothing fell somewhere between both: His dark jeans, black boots, and black collared shirt suited him well, and meant he didn't look wholly out of place. Samuel threw the kid a wave as the passed the door, his eyes quickly darting past him to the bar beyond.
"I better see about that whiskey," he said, leaning down to press a kiss to Lia's temple. "Don't wander too far off, now."
