She nodded, pulling her purse higher on her shoulder. "That makes sense." Sarah wasn't much of a cook herself, but she could manage enough to keep herself fed without having to order takeout too much. "Maybe we can come to a compromise, then. I can deliver occasional meals in exchange for a reasonable volume level."
For a moment she wondered if there was actually a camping store around, but there very well might be. "I'll keep a keen eye out, Lewis."
She caught sight of a bookstore across the street, and although it wasn't what she was looking for at the moment, she filed the knowledge away for another day. "Plants are... well, I guess you could say they're my 'thing'. I suppose it started when I was young - my mom was really outdoorsy, and planting a garden was how we bonded. I've always loved watching things grow and flourish." She was usually fairly good at it, too, save for recently.
