"It's why it's stayed popular throughout the times," Sheila said with a small smile. She let the subject drop beyond that though, noticing the look on Sarah's face. No need to keep on if she was uncomfortable with it.
She perked up as Sarah did - finding the reaction to a plant store just a bit amusing. "She ate six seeds and as a result had to spend the winter with him. That's why we have winter." Supposedly. "Not sure - that's the part the myths leave out, you know. We don't know if he asked before or any of that - just that he trapped her with a narcissus before carrying her off."
Moving to the door, she held it open for her. "Don't get too entranced by daffodils," she recommended. "They're not as nice as they seem." She'd looked it up years ago, when wondering exactly what a marcissus was.
