Sarah wasn't the sort of person who was bored by stories - she loved hearing them, and mythology was usually more interesting than a lot of novels currently in print. Hades sounded familiar, even though her first thought was of the blue-haired antagonist from the Disney version of Hercules. "The Greek gods had a lot of affairs, didn't they?" It was something that sounded right, but she wasn't sure. Still, getting revenge by turning the girl into a mint plant was new. "I never knew that, about mint."
She barely remembered to keep track of the stores they passed, but so far there was nothing but a convenience store with a pitifully wilted flower plant hanging near the door. "What was wrong with Hades and Persephone?" she asked, curious. If she was still jealous of the affair, then things couldn't have been that bad - but why would she be jealous in the first place? Kidnapping didn't sound very romantic.
