She regarded the other woman curiously--the stranger's struggle with the offensive stain upon her shirt, along with her continuous stammering only served to add to Ariana's concern. Surely she wasn't simple, perhaps only tipsy, but she was nonetheless unsettled. Ariana hadn't heard someone trip over their words this much in quite awhile, as if the stain was absolutely the end of the world.
Tipsiness, then. Not everyone could hold their drink. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but merely a simple fact of life. The girl was young--or at least looked like it, and her fretting at a stain that could be easily handled once at home showed as obvious inexperience when it came to imbibing spirits.
"Flustered?" Ariana raised her brows, looking to the other woman for an answer. "What upset you so much that you would spill on yourself? And I wouldn't worry too much about the stain. Chances are everyone else out there is far too drunk by now to even notice."
