Re: Back at the Bar (Nathaniel)
"Oh, really?" Nathaniel replied with a grin. "Well, it must be nice to be settled and married. Just beginning to date someone is always...stressful."
Nathaniel found it nice to meet someone who was married. Thus far the majority of the people he had met were single or only dating someone and Nathaniel was, despite his past dating experience, content with the idea to settle down. Now in his thirties and relatively happy with his new life, he'd be happy to take the right steps if he found the right girl. And with Juliet...well it was certainly too soon to tell that but he had to admit he definitely felt a certain attraction to her that he had never experienced with anyone else.
Julian's following comment made Nathaniel's grin turn sheepish as he turned his gaze to his drink. "I understand," Nathaniel replied with a nod. "And your advice is appreciated. Maybe we do things a little different back home but I've never dated an American so I wouldn't know." Nathaniel looked up at Julian again but his eyes immediately fell on the face he had been hoping to see. Juliet was slowly emerging from the bathroom and having her return, rather than run out completely, caused Nathaniel to have more of a look of adoring for the girl than lust.
Standing on his feet, Nathaniel offered his hand to Julian. "I see my date and I'm going to go see if she is more composed. Thank you for sitting with me, Julian, it was lovely meeting you. Maybe we'll see one another again. I live in 804 if you ever need anything."
