She stretched out her hand as if she was reaching to stop him but dropped it back to her side. The last thing she'd wanted was for him to be upset. She really had no idea why he was so upset. She felt like she'd failed for being unable to calm things down, but she hadn't had much help in that department, had she? She turned around and frowned at Richard, not at all happy with how that had gone.
"Why did you do that?" She had hoped the two of them would get along but obviously that was out of the question. She took a a decent swig of her drink, knowing she shouldn't but too upset not to.
"You didn't need to act like that. He's my friend. I was trying to fix things, why wouldn't you let me?"
