Nathaniel hadn't been expecting that type of a reaction. Her surprise...well that was nice. But the sudden spilling of her drink over her beautiful costume followed by the mention of virginity...well, Nathaniel hoped that she was just making a random reference. Something similar to a virgin schoolgirl of course.
Quickly, Nathaniel grabbed a handful of napkins and stopped himself shy of blotting the liquid away from her chest. "It's fine, it's okay, darling. Mistakes happen, especially when alcohol is involved. Here, take some napkins and I'll get you another drink. Please don't fret, darling." He haphazardly reached out and ran his hand through her hair as he tried to comfort her. The more he focused on her spilt drink, the less he thought of how badly their kiss had gone. He hoped she liked it, that the surprise didn't lead to upset and that was what caused the spilling of the drink.
