Re: Sitting Area
Oh no. It wasn't going to be that easy. Provoking James was fun, and for some reason Richard was determined to get a rise out of the other man. It couldn't be what Lucy, as nice as she was, had in mind for a night out, but Richard didn't quite care. She was sweet and all, but he didn't even look at her as she stepped between the two of them. Why was it that suddenly his attention was so focused on this cheap vampire in tight pants?

Oh. Oh, well, when he put it that way. And that worked too. He could almost certainly get James angry if he played it from that angle.

Richard crossed his arms and listened as Lucy tried to smooth things over. Did she really think that he couldn't hear her? The club was crowded, yes, but not nearly that loud. "Yes, James, why are you so upset?" At the last word, he let his eyes linger obviously lower than James's face. When his eyes worked their ways back up to the other man's face Richard smiled in a way that could only be described as lascivious. Flirting this obvious was not anything he would try with a guy he actually had a chance of picking up, but it was perfect for getting a straight man to throw the first punch. And Lucy, bless her heart, would probably not even notice.
