Re: Entrance Area (Juliet)
"Yes, my father is a professor of literature at Nevada State," she began to excitedly explain. She would have gone on to profess her absolute, undying love for Shakespeare, and how it would be a dream come true to visit the Globe - instead, she was interrupted in the whirlwind of thoughts going through her mind by a hand on her chin, propping her face up to him. Her eyes shut and their lips met for only a brief moment, but it still made all other things inside of her head stop, freeze for a moment. Her eyes flicked open again, the edges of her mouth turning up and down as she tried to decide just how she felt about the sudden breach of courtesy.
"I...um..." In the end, she knew she liked it (no, more than that, but that seemed inappropriate) and possibly even wanted more, but her body was suddenly deciding that it would rather be unhelpful. Lowering herself back down to the heels of her pumps, she released her chin from his hand (slowly) and tried to bury her uncertainty and sudden fluster in a drink. That proved to be an unwise decision as the cup decided to hit her chin rather than her mouth, suddenly up ending a portion of the contents down her front.
"Oh, oh no-" Her arms held themselves aloft in front of her, the glass instantly moved away from the scene of the crime. Here she was again, messing up a perfectly good date! Emotions were suddenly playing out over her face, and she couldn't stop the things she said next, all being muttered half under her breath and with the sudden forgetfulness that Nate was still standing right next to her. "Oh, of course an idiot like me would be messing this up, of course I'd mess this up, gorgeous guy takes you out and you spill your drink down your front from one little kiss, acting like a stupid virgin schoolgirl..."
