Nodding, she slipped into the chair he pulled out for her, glad to see her view of the stage was unobstructed even with patrons standing and milling all around. Theirs would be an excellent view, she was certain, with ample access to wait staff and the bar; tonight was not a night to let their drinks run dry.
"I just think," she said, crossing her legs beneath the table, "it might be nice for us to go on a real, adult date. I haven't had one in so long, I'm starting to forget what they look like." She smiled softly. "We could both use the change of pace, I think."
