With their hands linked, Lucy took charge of this trek. He'd led last time, now it was her turn. She picked a careful path through the throng of costumed revelers and found them a spot with a decent view of the entire club. It was the perfect people watching/costume commentating spot.
She took her hand from his and plopped down, patting the spot beside her in invitation. Then it was time to work. There were lots of costumes to take in and only so much time.
"That's part of the fun! If you don't know who someone is, you just make something up. Like that guy over there." She pointed to a man who was wearing a cardboard box. That seemed to be the extent of his costume.
