She grinned. "I can't wait to hear you sing! Do you have a go to song?" Lucy took a small sip from her bottle and licked what was left behind from her lips.
"I hope it's better than what she's singing up there." She gestured towards the stage with her bottle, her expression a mixture of curiosity and uncertainty. "I'm not even sure she's singing an actual song up there."
So it was going to be a night of trade offs, how fun! It was sort of like a game. "I get to choose? Okay, let me think." She surveyed the bar, her eyes stopping on individual areas for assessment. Dancing could be fun, but she'd be more inclined to do that after she had a little more of her drink. After the incident with James, she was paranoid about her wig staying on, and dancing in a big crowd of people made the possibility of it falling off far too probable.
Her eyes settled on the lounge area. That looked to be a safe place. She wasn't sure she liked the idea of making fun of peoples costumes, but perhaps they could guess what everyone was. Everyone tried really hard on their costume, she assumed, and making fun of them for it wouldn't be fair.
"Why don't we go sit and see if we can guess what everyone is suppose to be!"
