Re: Entrance Area (Juliet)
Accepting her drink with her free hand, she brought it to her lips for a quick sip that would allow her time to consider her options. They'd only just gotten the drinks - perhaps it would be a good idea to hang back, and see what else was going on?
In a physical answer to his question, she moved over to the counter itself, pressing one red-skirted hip against it comfortably, though not moving too far away from his orbit. The alcohol hit her pretty quickly, but it mostly just showed in the slightly sour face she offered after the drink. The taste was sweet, but quickly left an unpleasurable aftertaste that she was hoping would fade once she grew used to it. Winding her fingers in his, she passed a thumb over the top of his hand.
"Could we just stay here for a little bit? Then maybe we could dance. I'd rather wait for the band, though," she replied, her eyes turning to the stage. Therein a rather well done up devil was just starting on the strains of a rather inappropriate song, one that made Juliet grimace in distaste. "I can't believe they have music like that - why couldn't she just sing Monster Mash or something at least Halloween related?"
