Re: Entrance Area (Juliet)
Nathaniel ordered a double rum and coke, retrieving the larger glass and handing it to Juliet before retrieving his own. Her hand on his shoulder, her voice so close to his ear, it had sent a chill through his body. He wanted her hand to be cold as it had been during their first date and her voice to be like ice crystals. It was a weird desire but Nathaniel had begun to realize he had a lot of strange desires with Juliet. Still, he hadn't acted upon any of them or even brought them to her attention. He was taking things slowly and only proceeding when Juliet seemed willing to step forward. With the way Juliet behaved, Nathaniel sensed that she hadn't much experience with dating, but he wasn't sure of the details so he certainly wouldn't push.
"Where would you like to go?" He spoke into her ear. "Would you like to sit at the bar and have our drinks or would you prefer one of the lounging areas?" He laced his fingers with hers and clasped tightly. It wasn't the same as at the bowling alley. It had never been the same. When he had touched her at the bowling alley it was as if every nerve in his body had sparked but that didn't quite happen when he held her hand now. That wasn't to say he didn't enjoy it. He loved to have her nearby and to be able to hold her hand.
