Lounge Area (Charlie)
Rylee gripped Charlie's hand as they stepped away from the bar and made their way to the lounging area, both clasping beers in their free hands which brought a laugh to Rylee's lips. Rylee had managed to get Charlie to wear a dress a third time, although this was more her idea than his, and with himself in a soldier costume, they looked oddly placed with the Sam Adam's Octoberfest bottles in hand.
Rylee stayed close to Charlie, not particularly enjoying party scenes and still not really liking Halloween. He was going for Charlie. She wanted to go to this party, she had picked out the costumes, so Rylee would happily obey directions. It was her birthday weekend after all. But no one said he couldn't drink enough to make himself relax so beers it was. At least this way, Rylee would slowly build up to being trashed, unlike what usually happened when Samuel showed up with whiskey.
Taking a seat on one of the fancy couches, Rylee pulled at Charlie's hand, making her drop down onto his lap. He wasn't sure if this would be too handsy for her taste in public, but dammit, he was going to try. She just looked too god damn good in that dress and it was taking all of his strength not to drag her into a bathroom stall for a quicky.
Halloween had always been a blessed holiday for the pair. They would be inseperable for the weekend and holiday night so it only made sense that as adults they were together again. "I guess if anything scares me I don't have a bush to hide under," Rylee said loudly as he rested his chin on Charlie's shoulder. The cluster of bushes in Rylee's front yard had been his safe haven on many a Halloween night when he was a child until Charlie decided it would be a perfect place to hide and scare other trick-or-treaters. "Although I suppose I could crawl under a table but I think I'm too tall for that. We wouldn't be able to scare people very much from their either."
