With the day off and way too little to do, Dov had decided to have a day for himself instead of doing anything close to being productive. (Which wasn't really uncommon for him, but he liked to think that he deserved to be lazy.) After smoking himself into what he deemed was a good high, he found himself driving, which was probably not a good idea, but then again, he didn't have many of those.
And what better place for a ridiculously high young man to go than the family friendly zoo?
Somehow he managed to drive alright, not hitting anyone or anything in the process, and didn't even get a strange look when he paid for his admission to the zoo. Man. If he'd known California would've been so lax, he would've moved years ago.
His first visit was to the brand new reptile exhibit, and soon enough he found himself standing close to the tanks, dark sunglasses perched atop his head so he could get a clearer look at the creature inside. "Woah," he muttered to himself, a sleepy grin on his face. Upon hearing a voice, he slowly turned toward it, finding himself staring at a zoo employee. "They're like - so freakin' weird, it's awesome," he laughed, shoving his hands deep into his pockets as he stared at the turtle again. "Never saw one before."
