Who: Xander,Paul and Honey Why: Pour the Wine When: In the evening Where: P3 Rated: Saucy Syrup
Wine was to Xander like Catnip had been to Rum (Honey Skye’s child hood pet cat that looked very much like a Pirate because he was missing a piece of his ear and he had this limpy thing he did when he craved attention…He was salty. VERY salty.).
Lately Xander had been salty too… at least to her. She didn’t know why. Maybe it was the marriage. Though she couldn’t see why that should bother him. He was the one that had concocted this silly idea in the first place and now they were dirty, stinking, filthy rich. They only had to live together for a little while to keep up appearances and then she would leave him alone to his own devices. He would hardly have to deal with her during thier happily ever after- only in matters that would concern them both as husband and wife. She’d told him that as soon as the deal was done, their signatures were signed and the certificate was in his hand.
Silly her for thinking he’d be happy to hear that she wasn’t looking to snatch up his freedom or keep him from the hundreds of panty moist woman that dreamed he'd be fingering them on satin sheets.
Then again, she was maybe just a little, teenie, tiny bit pleased that he was no longer this State’s most eligible bachelor.
Lately he didn’t seem pleased with her at all.
And she looked great lately - Very refreshed actually.
So, it was for that very reason that Honey had conveniently left out a bottle of wine on the counter of the kitchen, perfectly centered and practically beckoning to her new husband with it's sassy flashy label to come; indulge, drink and be merry - with a cupful oof sultry, tannic delights!
He would not be able to resist.
In fact, she had known that not being there to arouse any suspicion would make it harder for him not to pop the cork and get into his cups. Honey Skye was hoping he’d been through several when she started to unlock the door to their abode. She stepped in, hung up her jacket and swirled around to face the counter where the bottle of wine had been.
…and just like she had expected, the bottle of wine was no longer there.
