Vanessa laughed and shrugged her shoulders slightly at Richard's joke. It wasn't exactly the best time to ask him out on a date, and after his display of rage, she imagined that most women wouldn't exactly still be wanting a night out on the town with him, good looking or not. However, Vanessa clearly wasn't like other women, especially when part of Nephthys's personality was clearly coming out to play. Vanessa of course had no idea what was going on, and blamed her flare and differences in emotion on the lack of sleep. How was she supposed to know the truth? The truth was that in her panic after the accident, her guard had been lowered far too much, allowing Nephthys to slip in a little of her personality, which was far more exciting than a simple mysterious straightening of the hair.
"Well, what do you say?" She certainly wasn't dressed for a good night out on the town, but she had her clothes she wore to the salon in her car, and she could easily change.
