Vanessa's vision returned just in time, just in time to see a rather large truck bearing down onto her tiny green sedan. Embarrassingly, Vanessa's instinct was to slam down on her brakes and close her eyes, not wanting to watch what was about to happen. Terrified, Vanessa opened her eyes after the accident was over and it was obvious that she was alive. People tell you that in cases like this, your life is supposed to flash before your eyes. Nothing flashed before Vanessa's eyes, all she felt was pure panic and a desperate feeling that her own life was being taken from her in so many ways, and it was getting old. Luckily, in the commotion of everything, she had swerved her car without realizing it, and the brunt of the damage was done in the back seat of the driver's side, it could've been a LOT worse and as Vanessa exited her car she couldn't help but imagine what could've been. If the car hadn't swerved, the truck would've hit her, smashing the side of her car, possibly killing her. That was not exactly a pleasant thought, and she suddenly didn't care that she was out of a car, she was focused on the fact that she could've died, and it was entirely her fault. For a moment, she entirely forgot that there was another party in this accident.
Shaking herself out of it, Vanessa turned and walked to the truck that had hit her, seeing who it was. "I am SO SO SO SO sorry, I just didn't see...Oh it's you! Are you okay???"
