The TV that was front and center gave away more than anything else did though. "It would take a lot to affect my soul," she said honestly. Sheila let most things roll of her back. "You seem pretty confident about this."

She did settle in though when he got to the couch. Slouching down, she twirled a loose strand of hair about her hand until he'd hopped up and come back again. "You're supposed to keep the light on for scary stuff, you know. Are you going to have nightmares after this?"
