"It's Sean," Karin said, stumbling over his name. She looked up to her sister, her hair a veil conveniently obscuring her eyes. She hated to ask, but saw no clear alternative; she hated the idea of leaving more, and it was clear he needed at least some small comfort. She chewed at her lip, wondering what Fee would say to her inevitable question, what she might truly think even if she answered as Karin wanted.
