Lately Dov had been having some awfully strange dreams - extremely vivid, and they didn't even feel like they'd been dreams. For one, he had more control over his actions than he ever had in normal dreams, which was strange. It was like he was awake, almost - but in strange situations that couldn't really happen in reality.
Like now. Dov folded his arms over his chest, the wifebeater and boxers he'd fallen asleep in hardly appropriate for the freezing-cold weather he now found himself in. He shifted his weight back and forth between his feet, shivering as snowflakes landed on his pale shoulders.
Looking around the desolate area, all he could see were trees. Tons of them. But then... Huh. He could definitely see a person. That was another thing about these dreams - he always met someone in them. Just one person, and almost always someone he'd met around the apartment building. Running toward the figure, he couldn't quite recognize her.
"Hey!" he yelled as he approached her, "Have I met'cha somewhere before?"
