As they exited the elevator, Riley let out a small sigh of relief. It was nice to be on solid ground again, even if she tried to convince herself that elevators were nothing to be afraid of. "Thanks," she said as Lia held the door for her. "Yeah, it shouldn't be weird...but that's the way things go, I guess." She shrugged. Nothing you could do about it.
At the question, she laughed. "Well, a few places. But I did most of my growing up in Massachusetts. I've been to New York a few times, it's really nice. The city, or out in the country area?"
