Gratefully, Lia stepped into the elevator, grinning at Riley broadly. "No apologies necessary, Riley - it's lovely to meet you," she said. "Helping with my groceries is a great neighborly gesture." With her pinkie, stretching up onto her tiptoes, Lia managed to press the button for her floor, then leaned back against the wall of the elevator. Long ago she'd learned not to put the groceries down, because she found she rarely ever wanted to pick them back up once she had.
