Luckily for Karin, Sean was the exact opposite of a deep sleeper, one single knock on his door would wake him up from his sleep. He woke up and opened one eye, sitting up in his bed to make sure that the knocking hadn't been in his imagination. When it continued, he shuffled out of bed, looking over what he was wearing. He had fallen asleep in a pair of blue boxers. It certainly wasn't appropriate for answering the door, but if he fumbled for clothes or a robe, by the time he was clothed, the person could be long gone, and he would be left wondering who it had been. He grabbed his thick black rimmed glasses from the nightstand as he headed to the door. His hair got curly and beyond messy when he slept, so it made for quite the appearance, there was no hiding the fact that he had been asleep. Nevertheless, when he answered the door and saw Karin's face, he immediately ushered her inside.
There HAD to be a good reason for her knocking on his door at this hour, and the concern immediately showed in his face. "Karin, come in! What's wrong?" On instinct he headed into the kitchen and put the tea kettle on the stove to boil water.
