Sean's joke actually did smart a bit, but it was easier for Luc to laugh it off and keep it to himself – besides, he was 99% sure that Sean didn't mean it to be an asshole. And, well, 99% was good enough for a condom – he figured it was good enough for this situation. Of course, that was something he definitely shouldn't compare Sean's sense of humor to again.
“Yeah, it's rough, man,” he said with a chuckle and a shake of his head. “Pimpin' ain't easy.” He flashed a cheesy grin and pushed his sunglasses up on his nose. “So, to your place then?”
It was easy enough to point the car towards the complex – they were kind of driving that way aimlessly anyway, for lack of a better destination. He couldn't believe he was actually doing this.. putting himself in this kind of position again, and so willingly – hell, almost eagerly. May as well throw himself on the other man at this rate. And he was sure that would go over so well..
Yeah, a lot of it was the fact that Sean was absolutely gorgeous. But some of it was that the other man seemed so.. grounded. In ways that Luc wouldn't let himself compare Sean to right now, but also in a way that he couldn't quite put a finger on. He definitely liked it though.
