The class itself had been a push for Luc, that was for goddamn sure. Hell, he hadn't done yoga with Nate in over a year, and to dive back in headfirst like this.. well, he was probably going to be feeling it tomorrow. He could feel the beginnings of it now with how his muscles edged with strain. He'd taken it easy with most of his poses (he wasn't trying that hard to prove anything, if he was even trying at all – and he wasn't, right?), but was unable to help appreciating Sean's athleticism and ability to master some of the more difficult moves. And, yeah, so it was pretty hot to know that Sean could bend like that, but Luc wasn't about to let himself dwell on things like that. Especially just in sweats. Talk about awkward - but the girl in front of him would probably think it was her ass, anyway. At least he could blame it on that, should the situation, ahem, arise.
He rolled up his mat and shoved it back in his gym bag, putting his shirt back on (though it stuck to him in more than a few places) as well as his shoes before carefully replacing the things he'd borrowed.
God, but he felt good though. The good breakfast, the lack of booze in his system, and now a good workout to get his endorphins pumping? And then he still had a joint waiting for him? Fuck, why had he even gone off the straight and almost-narrow in the first place?
Oh, right. Because drinking helped things.
He caught up with Sean once everyone seemed to disperse (and after also having to make some idle introductions and small-talk with a few of the more interested classmates), his bag hooked over his shoulder and sunglasses back on his head.
“That was awesome,” he grinned broadly, giving Sean's shoulder a friendly slap before letting his hand return to the strap of his bag. “I have needed that like you wouldn't believe.” He nodded towards the front of the building. “If memory serves, there's a great little bistro a few blocks down. We could probably even walk if you wanted to.” He flashed that sly smirk again. “But I dunno how long you want to leave Mary out in my car. Not that she's going anywhere.” Not that Luc gave a fuck either way, whether they smoked before or after eating. Technically they could smoke before and after – he'd brought enough to accommodate it – but he felt like that was probably getting a little too demanding for first meetings. Definitely.
