Dov raised an eyebrow at his older sister, taking another sip of his beer before smirking. "Seein' as I'm twenty-one I don't see any real reason for ya to wanna kick me out." He chuckled a little. "Shit, no. I mean I told him I was goin' out for the night but I didn't tell him where. I mean I'm an adult, right? I don't gotta tell anybody where I'm goin' at night." Since coming to California he kind of felt like a kid again, and he didn't like it. Elias was cool and all, but he missed his independence. At least back home when he was living with his mom, he didn't feel uncomfortable telling her where he was going. He supposed it didn't matter anymore.
"You ain't gonna tell him, are ya? 'Cause if you're gonna be a fuckin' snitch I'm just gonna go somewhere else." Laughing, he figured if he was going to hang out with Charlie tonight might end up differently than he'd planned, but hey, getting drunk with his sister could be fun, right? If she stayed cool, anyway. Lately he'd been getting along a lot better with Charlie - though anything was an improvement over his first impression of her.
