Vanessa had spent twenty minutes ransacking her closet and her bedroom was now an absolute pigsty as a result. Did she dress up in a vintage dress, if so which one? She had tried on all of her favorite dresses, including the white dress from the 20's she had worn when she had gone out with Julian. It was her usual going out dress, elaborate and vintage, yet could be made to look casual and comfortable. However, they were going TO Casket, and in case they ran into Julian, she didn't want to be caught wearing the same thing, that would just look bad, so that was out. After that she had gone through and tried on just about every vintage dress she owned. Some were too fancy, some were too casual, some would be too warm in this California heat, and some she just didn't want to risk ruining.
After these twenty minutes, she picked up a black steel boned waist cincher and looked at it for awhile, wondering if it would work, and if so with what. After another dozen outfit combinations, Vanessa decided to go with an outfit that was extremely strange and different for her, blue jeans. She had exactly one pair of blue jeans, a dark indigo pair that was skin tight in all of the right ways and hugged every curve. She paired it with a black spaghetti strap low cut camisole. On top she put on the waist cincher, tightening it so that it gave her a flattering (and not freaky small looking) waistline, also making sure that she was able to breathe.
She fixed her hair, making sure it wasn't frizzy and out of control, a little makeup and she was good to go. Of course she had spent a little longer than she had wanted deciding what to wear, so she grabbed a little green purse quickly and darted to the elevator, trying to be quick in black and white high heels. "Sorry, I'm here now."
