Rylee wrinkled his nose, his cheeks a bright red as he reached for the wine again. Making it spin in his glass for a moment he glanced at both of the women like they were conspiring against him. Well, at the very least, Cat knew of Rylee's least proud moment and didn't seem completely disgusted by him. That was good.
But he frowned at Charlie fully at her mention of a drinking contest. How come she could go and get drunk with Samuel but when Samuel got him drunk it was a big deal? Then she made her point, the puke, right. He elbowed Charlie and gave her a joking glare before turning back to Cat.
"The food and wine has been great, Cat, thank you. I'll have to repay the favor one day," Rylee said with a smile. "But I should probably get going." Rylee got to his feet, gathering his mess and placing it on his empty plate. He could at least clean up after himself if he was going to leave early. "I have work tomorrow, I'm sorry."
