Rylee's eyes widened a little at the turn of subject. He didn't want to talk about the blackout again. Especially not with someone whom he had just met whom he was trying to impress. But Charlie had already brought it up and was dragging him into this whether he liked it or not. It was much like a lot of the things they did while growing up. Taking a deep breath in, he tried to ignore his anxiety and act like an adult or something.
"You were there for the black out, Cat? I can't recall if I saw you but I didn't know many people at that point. I had only moved in a week or two beforehand."
He looked down at his food, peaking at Charlie for any sense of approval, then continued eating what food was on his plate while he waited for the girls to continue conversing.
