Cat smiled before delicately but securely gripping a bit of chicken and mango with rice between her chopsticks, watching and listening to the way these two interacted. As she took a sip of her Thai tea, she was attentive to how comfortable they were with each other, how easily they spoke, and particularly, how sweet Rylee seemed, and how something in Charlie seemed to shine with him there.
As she set down her tea, she nodded.
"That sounds quite lovely," she said. "It's quite good to have someone you've known for so long in your life; someone you're so comfortable with."
She took another sip of tea.
"It's not been terribly long," she said as she finished. "Since June, I suppose, though I travel a bit for work."
Poking a bit at a piece of beef, she asked, "So tell me about Pax Letale. It seems quite a... unique place."
