She huffed loudly and counted to ten in her head. She had been right, he was an idiot. Getting rid of him wasn't going to be easy. Fine. If he wanted to continue to pester her, so be it.
"Then be quiet and leave me alone," she retorted, picking up her pace and putting some distance between them. Once she got to the park it would be easier to lose him. There were plenty of trails and paths to take. She couldn't be so unfortunate that he would be able to follow her there.
She turned up the volume on her ipod and Billy Joel blasted in her ear. Because you had to be a big shot, didn't cha you had to open up your mouth. How fitting.
The entrance to the park loomed ahead, and she began to slow her pace just a tad to a more even pace.
