Charlie gave a little jump and squeak, glaring at Rylee before glancing back at Fee. She seemed like an interesting character.
"Ain't most of us," she replied, the smallest of smiles edging around her mouth. This woman obviously had an attitude, which was always something Charlie could appreciate - that or things would inevitably go south as they rubbed each other the wrong way. It stood to be seen how things would work out.
"Yeah, yah got me, ain't that enough? Hell, I got yah into enough trouble back home yah think I make up for four siblin's," she added, obviously being forced into the conversation.
It seemed like everyone was going to play nice and ignore the elephant in the room - Charlie frowned at this assessment, then mentally shrugged her shoulders. She picked up her menu and frowned again as she perused it, unhappy with the selection that was being offered her.
"So what in here used to make a noise before it ends up on my plate?"
