Though it looked like Fee made a beeline for the menu, she wasn't missing any details. Rylee seemed sweet as a puppy, and maybe as wet behind the ears, and this Charlie looked sullen as shit, but that didn't necessarily mean anything bad. As she opened the menu, she grinned broadly at her sister.
"Yeah, right," she said, nudging Karin with her elbow. She had noticed her sister's thinness; it was hard not to. Now that they were sort-of living together, it was easier to see why. Not enough good sleep, not enough eating, too much work, and too much exercise. Even though this place was obviously ridiculously healthy, Fee had seen online that they had some Fatty McGoo items on it. Hopefully she could get Karin to eat something that weighed more than a paper clip.
"Anyway, nice to meet you, too, Rylee. You too, Charlie."
She leaned in conspiratorially.
"I'm the bad sister. I like red meat and booze. I say inappropriate things. But Kar loves me anyway, which is good, because I'm definitely beyond help."
