He shook his head as he took his place after Lucy, trying to not mimic what she had done, especially since he was already behind. Taking a moment to study the course, carefully hitting his ball off of a wall to angle it down the short path toward the hole - unfortunately the shot skirted the goal by just a bare inch, rolling a little ways past.
Max tossed the golf club up to grab it in the middle of the shaft. "You're the first one who's had that effect on me. And I haven't met Alexandria or her brother."
Walking down the path, he watched from the side for Lucy to take her next shot. "If it's deja vu, is that supposed to imply that we've met before? Or maybe it's just that you remind me of someone.
