Certainly if Eris was of the knowledge that Phobos allowed his mother to attempt to tame his wild mane, there would be endless needling from her side of the battlefield - all told, it would probably result in a better, more concentrated effort from him, but certainly the gain of a cruel effort.
Not that such a thought would ever give Eris pause. It was best that Aphrodite kept such information to herself.
Her pout lessened, her face drawing on an apathy before exploding once more into a wide, strange looking grin. "Yes, your boys do enjoy my company - though I prefer Phobos' more, but don't let Deimos know. He might get jealous..." It was one of Eris' favorite pastimes, to play the brothers against one another, all for her own amusement. Of course, she was under no illusion that they weren't aware of such games, but it didn't seem to stop the rivalry between them.
"Really? I wonder why they haven't spoken of this to me," she replied in mock astonishment - of course the lovely kallisti would be a sight to see on the battlefield, and undoubtedly her sons and perhaps even Ares himself had spoken of such an event; it was another question entirely of whether Eris was in the mood to listen at the time. She cocked her head to the side, stepping over a dish and then sending it crashing to the floor. "I wonder, then, if this battle is to be so great, that you would not want to partake of it yourself? Surely there would be enough to go around..."
