Aphrodite's grin was the first response to Eris' pout, despite the way it contorted the goddess' face. She shook her head, knowing that she might as well have asked Enyalios or the twins to let her do their hair.
Well, Phobos did let her do his hair, but there was no need to mention that now.
"I meant no offense, sweet Discord," she said with mirth in her voice. "I actually have little doubt that ridicule as they might, they'd also see a certain appeal. But you have an appeal of your own that calls to them, I think..."
Her grin broadened; she might as well have winked at the other goddess.
"Though I will say, I have been on a battlefield in my very best. I had a gleaming gold helm and all. Phobos and Deimos were with me, in fact!" She grinned, and took a sip of her wine.
