The brief moment of silence between the two of them would've proved to be awkward had Max not broken it quickly (after, of course, his attention to the elevator buttons was finished). Dom welcomed the now familiar topic as it was a distraction from his thoughts drifting to the poor soul who no doubt would end up cleaning up after Max. He would maybe go back to the elevator later that evening and do it himself--a damp rag no doubt would handle that mess. It wasn't really fair to the janitors, was it?
"Something like this, yeah, though I'm sure it won't be a problem. It'll be new to the store and fun for all involved, right?" Despite Max's chocolate issue, Dominic wasn't turned off from the candy fiend's idea--how could he be, when it essentially meant the sharing of knowledge with those that might benefit from it? Though gaming was only a fun outlet, it had to count as something good.
The elevator stopped appropriately, doors sliding back to reveal the second floor's landing. Dom smiled at Max. "Well, it was nice to meet you." Since he'd made plans--however brief--Dominic intended to keep them, regardless of Max's messy habits. He stepped forward and reached out a hand, placing it upon his side of the doors, so as to keep them from closing. "Do you have a phone on you? I'll give you my number and you can call or text me when you get things settled." It was a friendly offer, and seemed appropriate.
