The elevator shuddered into motion - Max had heard tales of the thing breaking down and trapping its passengers inside, but thus far he had been lucking in avoiding such a disaster. And, not to pass judgement on his new acquaintance, it seemed that Dom would probably not be the best of fellows to be stuck inside of a small, stationary box. Not that Dom would go all Donner party on him, but Max was already drawing the conclusion that his less than cleanly habits were being harshly viewed.
He quickly brought the conversation back to the previous topic, trying to keep the short amount of time they had left together as amiable as possible. "I really think it would. And some press would definitely help the event, as well - so if I get something together, I'll let you know. Do you have to run that kind of stuff by an editor before you know whether or not it would be accepted?" Max leaned against the far wall of the elevator, giving Dom however much space he might require. Crossing his arms over his chest, one hand dangled the bag of twizzlers and the half empty bag of M&Ms; he'd have plenty of time to finish both on the ride up to the sixth floor.
All too soon, the doors were opening on the second floor, giving Dom a wide escape to his apartment. Max hoped he'd at least answer his question, and maybe give him some way of contact in case he ended up having a story - of course, there was always the apartment forum, which was better than nothing.
