"Oh, mind if I follow?" Max had definitely had his fill of candy, and he could feel his fingers slightly glued together from the left over chocolate bestowed by the melting of the M&Ms in his hand.
Disregarding the sensation, he whizzed around Dominic, heading toward the elevator (not station too far away from the vending machine room, which was annexed rather neatly with the lobby - which, if memory served, was adjacent to the strange room that he and Fiona had found not too long ago, though he chose to shove that particular thought out of his mind) in order to 'win' in hitting the call button first. His fingers left a little smear of brown on the white button, besmirching the pristine glow that signaled the contraption was on its way down.
Without pause, though, Max turned back to his fellow conversant. "So...you write articles about the community in general? Do you take suggestions? I've been trying to get people together for a gaming session, some kind of LAN party...or do you not cover news pieces?" He gave Dominic his full attention, truly curious about the other man's work and the potential it could have toward helping his own goal of becoming the professional gamer that he wanted to be.
Meanwhile, his hands emptied more of the M&Ms into their palms, greasing the already marked skin and every so often refilling Max's face cavity with more of their sugary goodness.
