"Uh, sure. Thanks." He accepted the bag from Dom without issue. Holding it between his fingers he ripped the top open and poured a handful directly from the bag into his mouth. Any table manners that Lily might have been trying to instill in him were usually reserved only for when he was around his sister - any other time, Max ate the way he pleased. Crunching the chocolate between his teeth, he smiled, showing off candy-coated incisors. He was dressed casually, jeans and a lime-green shirt that showed off a Mario mushroom, proclaiming the words "Get A Life"; his shoes were converse and navy blue. With one hand he scooted his glasses back up the bridge of his nose, falling into a comfortable stance a few feet away from the vending machines.
"So how're you liking the building?" His voice was still clear even when speaking through the chewing, and Max glanced down to fill his hand with more M&Ms. Through his mind flashed the thought of how close they were to that weird room, and on his tongue danced the questions of 'have you seen/heard/felt anything weird'. But not only did it seem rude to pepper a newcomer with such questions, it also felt a little awkward. So instead he tossed a few more M&Ms into his mouth and waited for Dominic's reply.
