It was rare that Dominic would cave and eat something that was downright sinfully sweet. He did try particularly hard at times to resist any cravings that might come upon him, and he'd been doing it for so long that it was almost like second nature. Self-control was a very important aspect in life, and one that he figured he'd master sooner or later, if he was lucky. Once in awhile he let himself indulge, and tonight was one of those times. A little bit of extra sugar wouldn't hurt any, he reasoned with himself as he stood in the downstairs lobby and regarded one of the apartment vending machines.
He'd brought enough change for several of the items on display and hadn't quite decided between a 3 Musketeers Bar or a Snickers instead when someone approached and purchased a package of M&M's. Blinking in surprise, Dominic glanced at the other Pax resident and gave him a smile in return, nodding. It was nice to see that someone else was up and about at this hour--albeit it wasn't that late, but given the size of the building, Dominic found it slightly discomforting that things were so quiet.
But then again, a mostly quiet atmosphere meant he could get his work completed in a more timely manner during the evenings.
"Hey. Yeah, I'd say I'm still pretty new around here. I'm Dominic, I'm in 207." He answered Max and then counted out the correct amount of change in his hand for a Snickers, sliding the coins into the machine and pressing the correct button. The Snickers bar tumbled to the bottom, landing near the bag of M&M's. "Um, I'll get those for you--if you don't mind."
