Narrowing his eyes, James looked down at Adam for another moment before pushing away. "Ask your boyfriend, Alex." His eyes snapped up and took a careful look at his little sister. He wasn't liking this, not at all. He came to the apartment complex assuming things would be much as they were when they were children but what he had come to realize was that his little sister not only had grown up but had gained an entire life separate of him.
Turning on his heel, James moved to the other side of the table and took his seat. Leaning back in the chair he lifted his milkshake and took a sip, raising an eyebrow at the two of them, eyes flicking back and forth between the couple before James carefully placed the drink down. "It's a good milkshake, I like your choice, Alex." he commented before pressing his lips into a line and crossing his arms over his chest. He returned to staring at the two of them for a moment, a small smile playing on his lips as he noticed the bruising of Adam's eye, then grabbed hold of a fry to munch on.
