"Adam," James replied with a sigh. He lingered behind, feeling tension build in his chest as he saw his sister embrace the smaller man. Swallowing hard and giving a loud clear of his throat, he moved forward with easy, confident steps towards the two.
"I'm not complaining about the food; simply that you gave me false advertising." He straightened his posture and looked down his nose at Adam. The memories of the dream he had were heavy and real. He could almost taste Adam on his lips and remember the near spark when they touched. Still, he didn't allow this to show on his face or even in his stance. He presented his hand to Adam and waited for him to shake it. "It's been years. You're... grown up." He swallowed and glanced over Adam again, his expression looking nearly like he was disgusted, but turning to nothing but blank under his sisters gaze.
