She nodded. Alex had told her that her family worried about her a great deal. She could definitely believe him when he said he worried about her a little too much for either of their sakes. She wanted to tell him that he really didn't have to, because she knew how suffocating it could be and because she felt this need to reassure him. "It's sweet of you to look out for her like you do."
She placed her hand in his and gave it a gentle squeeze. Even though she had been expecting it, that spark of knowing and familiarity still caught her off guard. She felt as if she knew every little detail about this person, she just didn't have access to that part of her memory.
