James turned a cool eye to Lucy and listened to what she had to say about his sister. He gave a short nod and his expression softened. "I believe you. She can be wonderful in strange situations. I just... I worry about her. Maybe a little too much for her own good or mine. Believe me when I say I am more proud of her than anything I can think of." And this was the honest truth, which surprised James somewhat. He didn't readily give up the truth to people. He typically kept complete honesty to himself, if people knew too much then they could use it against him. Better to build himself up to look like something wonderful and unstoppable than to let them know his true self. But... Lucy seemed to be capable of having this information. He trusted her with it.
"I think I may stop by one day," James continued with another smile. He reached out his hand to Lucy, wanting to shake it, if only as an excuse to briefly touch her.
